Ralph Bickford

Born Jan. 23, 1933 in Fairfield, Maine, Ralph was the son of Mahlon A. Bickford and Hattie Fenlason Bickford.

Airman First Class Mahlon Ralph Bickford graduated from Clinton High School class of 1950. He served 14 years in the U.S. Air Force, including during both the Korean and in Vietnam Wars. 

The last 17 years of his working life were at the Skowhegan Post Office. After retirement he enjoyed volunteering for the Waterville Humane Society. Ralph was a godly, quiet, family man. 

He married Darlene White and they had five children; sons Greg and Carlton, and daughters Jodi, Gracie and Ruthie. 

He died on November 5, 2014.
