Joseph Hachey

Joseph Hachey was born in Winslow on Jan. 10, 1933, the son Leonel and Marqurite (Jacques) Hachey. 

He graduated from Winslow High School, class of 1951. Following his schooling, he served with the US Air Force from 1951 to 1972. He was a boom operator on the KC-97 and later the KC-135. During his time serving in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, he refueled airplanes. 

Joseph married Blanche Flenner and together they had two sons: Michael and Mark.

Joseph was employed by Scott Paper Co. for 20 years. He was a 40-year member of the Clinton Lions Club and was an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Joseph passed away at home on Feb. 1, 2019 at 86 years old.
