William Clark

Private William Clark married Ruth Kiesow before the war in 1939. After the war they moved from Hartford, Connecticut to Clinton, Maine in 1945. 

Bill bought and operated the Blue Sunoco gas station (where Powers Auto Center is now) for a few years when they first moved here. He then did some farming and had odd jobs; he was working at Cooper Weymouth when he retired. 

Bill lived at their farm up on Route 100 until his death on April 10th, 1996, at age 86. He and Ruth are buried at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
