Frank Morris

Staff Sergeant Frank Robert Morris moved to Clinton with his parents, David and Ursula (Esterbrooks) Morris, from Rensselaer, New York in 1939. Frank was 20 years old he enlisted in the Army on March 15th, 1941. 

Frank served with the 103rd infantry in Guadalcanal, North Solomons, New Guinea, and Luzon. He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Combat Infantry Badge during WWII. 

After the war, he worked the family farm with his dad, eventually taking it over.
