Kenneth Hanscom

Serving as a Seaman 2nd Class, Kenneth L. Hanscom went into the Navy on October 4, 1944, and was discharged a year later, November 9, 1945. 

He married Alice Gilbert Hanscom, and they had four children: Caroline, Marie, Frank and Joyce. He raised his family in Westbrook while working at the paper mill. 

His brother Arnold Hanscom, Dale’s father, worked at the shipyard in South Portland, Maine during the 2nd World War.
